Matthew 25:35
More than a helping hand. A place to belong.
We don't just give people something. We take them in.

Our story
“I was a stranger, and ye took me in.”
Took Me In started with college students in Utah bringing home-cooked meals to families who could use a little extra love. Local leaders and neighbors tell us who might need it, and we show up — not just once, but as friends.
How it works
Someone shares a name.
A neighbor, friend, or leader tells us who could use help.
We listen first.
Our team reviews every request and reaches out to make sure help is wanted.
Students bring a meal — and come back.
Volunteers deliver food and build a real friendship.

Opportunity
Opportunity is the foundation under everything we do — every meal is a chance to open a door.
Serve with friends.
Bring a meal, make a friend. Tell us when you’re free and we’ll find a time that works.
FAQ
Who can I share a name for?
Anyone in our area (Utah) who could use a meal and a friend — a neighbor, family member, ward member, or yourself.
Will the person know I shared their name?
We ask you whether they know. If they don’t, we usually reach out to you first so it’s handled kindly.
Does it cost anything?
No.
Why do you ask for my contact info?
So we can follow up, ask questions, and keep things safe for everyone.
Who are the volunteers?
College students and friends in Utah who want to serve.
I’m a Church leader with several names.
Email help@tookmein.org — a leader form is coming.
