Our story
“I was a stranger, and ye took me in.”
Took Me In grew out of a simple idea: when someone is struggling, they don’t just need a meal — they need to feel taken in.
Matthew 25:35–36 names food, drink, welcome, clothing, visiting the sick, and visiting those in prison. We start with food, and we treat opportunity as the foundation under every act of care.
We don't just give people something. We take them in.
