Privacy note

What we collect

• Share a name: your name, email, and phone; the person’s first name and area; optional address and household size; what would help; your relation; whether they know; how to reach them; dietary notes.
• Volunteer: name, email, phone, school, driving info, skills, interests, weekly availability, and optional notes.
• Contact: name, email, optional phone, topic, and message.

Why we collect it

So we can review requests kindly, coordinate volunteers, follow up safely, and reply to messages. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.

Who can see it

Only Race and approved team members. Submissions are stored in Supabase. Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Resend.

How long we keep it

Retention periods are still being decided with legal counsel. Until then, we keep records only as long as needed to serve families and run the program safely.

Correcting or deleting info

Email hello@tookmein.org to ask us to correct or delete your information.

Sharing someone else’s info

Only share a name with good intent. We contact people kindly, and if they don’t know yet we usually reach out to you first.
